About the role
- Independently develop design and construction work packages for electrical overhead and underground distribution systems
- Review work provided by Client and assess requirements of scopes
- Perform engineering calculations such as structural analysis and voltage drop calculations
- Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews
- Conduct root cause analysis of outages and mitigation using engineering principles
Requirements
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial)
- Experience with the execution of distribution projects from kickoff through design approval
- Experience with utility reliability projects
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the NESC
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Willingness to perform both field and office work
