Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑class network architectures across data centers, cloud environments, and remote sites.
Lead complex network engineering projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.
Develop and enforce network standards, best practices, and configuration baselines.
Troubleshoot advanced network issues and provide Tier‑III escalation support.
Optimize network performance through capacity planning, traffic analysis, and proactive monitoring.
Implement and manage routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching technologies, and WAN architectures.
Ensure network security through segmentation, firewall policies, access controls, and compliance frameworks.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support business initiatives.
Mentor and guide junior network engineers, providing technical oversight and knowledge sharing.
Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience.
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Experience in network engineering or network operations.
Expert‑level knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and network protocols.
Strong experience with enterprise networking platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, or equivalent).
Proficiency with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologies.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues in large-scale environments.
Familiarity with network monitoring and analysis tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, NetFlow, etc.).
Strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills.
