About the role
- Taking a leadership role in system changes and improvements
- Working directly with government and contractor POCs to troubleshoot and respond to security reports
- Proactively monitor all operational systems and perform some of the more complex health checks
- Deploy security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments
- Update critical databases with new data
- Author and update operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides and SOPs
Requirements
- TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly (or ability to pass Poly upon hire)
- DOD 8570 Certification (Security+ or equivalent or higher)
- Typically requires BS and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in AWS/Cloud technologies
- Advanced Linux administration experience with RHEL 8 or higher
- Knowledge of Systems, Architectural, SW Development and SW Sustainment Practices
- Proactive self-starter demonstrates a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Can plan and prioritize work.
- Follow tasks to their logical conclusion and make sure that everything has been done to the right standard.
