About the role
- Lead cross functional teams development and implementation of scalable cloud-native solutions
- Ensure best practices across architecture, development, deployment, and security
- Responsible for the overall integrity, quality, and completeness of technical work performed and associated deliverables
- Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases
- Interact with the Government regarding Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts
- Mentor, guide and supervise teams for related activities
- Prepare detailed technical documentation to support development and operational processes
Requirements
- Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of experience
- Masters and twelve (12) years or more of experience
- Active Secret clearance at a minimum required to start
- US citizenship required
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent (IAT-2)
- Familiarity with DevSecOps principles and practices
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and/or Kanban
- Strong knowledge of security principles, including threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and encryption techniques
- Deep understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Argo CD)
- Strong documentation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Must have experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Bash, Go)
