Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, system architecture, and design solutions
Oversee code reviews, technical documentation, and adherence to coding standards
Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the team delivers scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions
Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to improve team efficiency and product quality
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Act as a servant leader, removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and Scrum practices, promoting collaboration and accountability
Work closely with Product Owners to manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business goals
Track and report on team performance metrics, such as velocity, sprint progress, and delivery timelines
Act as a liaison between technical teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing
Manage dependencies and coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of cross-functional projects
Plan and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful delivery of sprints and releases
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential roadblocks
Ensure the team delivers high-quality work within scope, budget, and schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 12–15 years of prior relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience
Proven experience delivering deployment automation systems spanning multiple technical areas
Hands-on experience with tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubespray
Working experience with build systems like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tools
Experience with deployment automation systems such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI
Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana Loki, Prometheus, Jaeger, and Grafana
Experience serving as a technical security DevOps engineer on large-scale projects or processes
Experience working in the AWS GovCloud environment
Deep understanding of DevOps processes and procedures
Working knowledge of Agile Development and CI/CD methodologies and tools
Proficiency in JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React
Strong understanding of software development process fundamentals
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience working in fast-paced environments, meeting deadlines, and applying lean development principles
Strong interpersonal communication skills—both verbal and written
Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and AWS CloudFormation.
