About the role

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring best practices in coding, design, and architecture
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements, system architecture, and design solutions
  • Oversee code reviews, technical documentation, and adherence to coding standards
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring the team delivers scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to improve team efficiency and product quality
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Act as a servant leader, removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and Scrum practices, promoting collaboration and accountability
  • Work closely with Product Owners to manage the product backlog, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Track and report on team performance metrics, such as velocity, sprint progress, and delivery timelines
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing
  • Manage dependencies and coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of cross-functional projects
  • Plan and manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful delivery of sprints and releases
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential roadblocks
  • Ensure the team delivers high-quality work within scope, budget, and schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 12–15 years of prior relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience
  • Proven experience delivering deployment automation systems spanning multiple technical areas
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Kubespray
  • Working experience with build systems like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar tools
  • Experience with deployment automation systems such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI
  • Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools like Grafana Loki, Prometheus, Jaeger, and Grafana
  • Experience serving as a technical security DevOps engineer on large-scale projects or processes
  • Experience working in the AWS GovCloud environment
  • Deep understanding of DevOps processes and procedures
  • Working knowledge of Agile Development and CI/CD methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and JS frameworks such as React
  • Strong understanding of software development process fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, meeting deadlines, and applying lean development principles
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills—both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and AWS CloudFormation.
