About the role
- Develop comprehensive plans that define scope, schedule, resource needs, budget, risk mitigation, and communication strategies for information technology projects and communicate those to implementation teams of various backgrounds to integrate
- Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment across technical, operational, and client-facing roles for analytic efforts and government audit
- Monitor and track progress using project management tools
- Manage and report on project budgets, timelines, milestones, and contractual deliverables
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and end users
- Deliver project status reports and updates, including analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Identify risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and develop effective mitigation and contingency plans
- Ensure all project activities comply with organizational policies, industry best practices, and applicable regulations
- Conduct post-project evaluations, lessons learned sessions and contribute to organizational knowledge and continuous improvement efforts
- Support customer audits and audit reporting to external independent public auditors regarding system and organization controls.
Requirements
- TS Security Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of experience
- Broad experience working with DOW financial management data and supporting systems
- Demonstrated experience in program management, managing multiple projects across functional domains
- Strong proficiency in project planning, resource management, risk management, and budget oversight
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Experience overseeing program implementation, tracking progress toward goals, and managing within scope, schedule, and budget
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement
- Ability to manage program evaluations and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Working knowledge of change management strategies and techniques.
