About the role
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for assigned data/AI squads.
- Partner with Product Owners and the Agile PM Lead to maintain a clean, prioritized JIRA backlog.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of data, analytics, and AI initiatives using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, hybrid Agile).
- Track and communicate team velocity, burndown, and sprint health and delivery progress.
- Identify and escalate operational risks such as scope creep, resource constraints, and dependency conflicts to ensure delivery commitments are met.
- Translate technical progress into clear status updates for business stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 8+ years of total experience, with at least 3 years acting as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a technical environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams (data engineers, data scientists, ML engineers, platform teams).
- Advanced proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I, or PMI-ACP required.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
