Architect the cloud infrastructure that powers critical Coast Guard operations.
Design and develop in scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
Create reference architectures, design patterns, and technical standards for cloud implementations.
Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud network architectures in AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.
Collaborate with cloud engineers, cybersecurity analysts, and program leadership to drive continuous improvement and deliver value to the mission.
Present architectural designs and recommendations to executive leadership.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in an IT-discipline.
Excellent customer service skills, with experience working in a customer-facing position for a minimum of 4 years.
Experience with AWS, Azure, cloud hosting, networking, DevSecOps and various cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings
Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks or Versa Networks.
Certifications such as Palo Alto Certified Network Engineer, Versa Certified SD-WAN Engineer, F5-CTS, AWS Advanced Networking, or Azure Network Engineer Associate
Support AWS Cloud hosted applications (including deployments, patches, security checks, and maintenance).
Provide support and troubleshoot AWS deployed applications.
Provide guidance in developing and optimizing administrative processes and procedures.
Work with SMEs and Security Team in defining secure-based cloud architecture.
Create and update standard operating procedures, and operational processes.
Windows Server creation, configuration, upgrade, migration, and patching.
