About the role
- Provide distribution design engineering for overhead and underground feeders
- Develop construction work packages for the electric distribution system
- Perform engineering calculations, including structural analysis, cable pulling, and fault currents
- Prepare forestry trimming requests and facilitate permit and Right-of-Way acquisition
Requirements
- 2-year technical degree or H.S. Diploma with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with STORMS, Katapult, ESRI, AutoCAD, PDS, and GIS is a plus
- Familiarity with Pole Loading software (DDS, O-Calc, SPIDA Calc, Pole Foreman, LD Field)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of mathematics.
