About the role
- Responsible for the configuration, optimization, and governance of payroll platform (UKGPro) and direct integrations with Workday
- Evaluate regulatory changes and vendor releases and implement required system enhancements
- Design scalable, compliant payroll solutions aligned to evolving business and workforce needs
- Maintain system documentation, configuration standards, process maps, job aids, and training materials
- Lead complex payroll data analysis, reconciliations, audits, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with U.S. payroll laws, multi-jurisdictional regulations, and government contracting requirements
- Perform root-cause analysis for payroll issues and implement durable corrective solutions
- Serve as senior subject matter expert and escalation point for payroll systems and integrations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of US payroll operations and payroll systems experience
- Deep expertise in payroll compliance, system configuration, and vendor management
- Strong analytical background with advanced reporting and reconciliation capabilities
- Experience with UKGPro payroll platform configuration as a Systems Analyst or System Administrator
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Strategic and systems-oriented thinker
- Strong problem-solving and solution design capability
- Exceptional communication skills across technical and executive audiences
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and compliance
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
