About the role

  • Lead and manage high-impact IT projects from initiation to closure
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans
  • Oversee project teams, including technical staff and other contributors
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to engage key stakeholders
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Monitor and report on project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
  • Conform to and continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes and methodologies
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field coupled with a minimum of 12 years of experience in IT project management
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex projects
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large, cross-functional teams and driving project success
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience leading IT projects in one or more of the following areas; infrastructure & operations, application modernization, or cyber security.
  • Master’s degree in Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • PMP or other relevant program/project management certifications preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of PMI PMBOK and Agile frameworks
  • Additional experience in systems engineering and organizational change management valued
  • Proven experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Project (and Project Online), SharePoint, and Power Platforms (PowerBI, Power Automate, and Power Apps)
