About the role
- Manage a collaborative and dynamic team in high voltage electric transmission line design projects
- Apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards in engineering and design
- Direct a team of engineers performing engineering analyses, PLS-CADD modeling, and foundation design
- Create responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs from clients
- Supervise staff and run performance review processes
- Liaise with clients to maximize affinity and foster business development growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, preferred, or Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Eight plus (8+) years of relevant experience in the design of high voltage electric utility transmission systems
- Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certification or the ability to achieve an EIT Certification in 6 months
- Track record of outstanding communication to serve as primary point of contact for existing and perspective clients.
