About the role
- Perform software development and software engineering tasks in support of LInC objectives
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop solutions to challenging problems, and document results and findings
- Apply previously acquired skills and knowledge to software engineering and development tasks
- Effectively communicate with engineers and scientists regarding current tasks
- Take part in team-building and personal development seminars and activities
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (minimum 3.0 GPA)
- Practical experience with programming and software engineering through coursework, lab projects, and previous internships
- Experience with Java, C/C++, and/or Python
- Demonstrate problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance, US Citizenship required
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic R&D environment
- Prior experience with augmenting and exploiting Synthetic Aperture Radar sensor data products (preferred)
- Experience with Linux (preferred)
- Experience with software design, software architecture, data structures, and/or databases (preferred)
- Experience with artificial intelligence/machine learning/deep learning (preferred)
