About the role
- Define and document the overall Salesforce architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Design scalable and secure Salesforce solutions, including data models, workflows, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, technical roadmaps, and best practices for Salesforce implementations.
- Ensure that Salesforce solutions adhere to industry standards, security protocols, and compliance requirements.
- Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, marketing automation, and data warehouses, using APIs, middleware, and ETL tools.
- Oversee the development of custom applications, components, and features using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.
- Optimize Salesforce configurations, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules, to meet business needs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Salesforce developers, administrators, and other team members.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Identify and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
- Plan and execute Salesforce platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Implement and maintain data governance policies, including data quality, security, and retention.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and technical teams.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Salesforce configurations, integrations, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent work experience) with 4+ years experience supporting environments in AWS and/or Salesforce.
- Experience with Salesforce based solutions.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Networking (e.g. AWS VPC, DNS, CIDR/Routing).
- Experience implementing compliance with government regulations such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in navigating electronic systems, computer programs, and virtual service platforms.
- Must be an U.S. citizen, speak fluent English, and able to maintain and retain suitability investigation and clearance as required.
