About the role
- Perform testing in Physical and Virtual test labs to ensure the system, test procedure, and test inputs are prepared to execute with the customer present
- Execute procedures that verify the system is properly configured and operating in the NAS
- Coordinate activities, communication, and planning efforts with FAA and Leidos personnel
- Debug system level issues and provide detailed supporting data on identified issues
- Able to understand System Level Requirements and perform system interface checkouts
- Work with team lead to provide guidance to fellow test team members and ensure team goals are appropriately set to meet all program milestones
- Execute commands for remote support staff (ILE/Networking) and provide feedback to solve problems remotely
- Analyze identified issues in conjunction with System Engineering and Software in regard to developing solutions
- Learn system architecture, design, functions and capabilities to support the integration and test of the new capabilities and enhancements
- Collaborate with the TFDM system engineering team to develop test approaches for new and modified requirements
- Execute commands for remote support staff (ILE/Networking) and provide feedback to solve problems remotely
- Ability to conduct Testing at Air Traffic Control Towers (ATCT) in operational site conditions with the FAA customer when required
- Perform formal test execution with the customer and quality assurance organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8+ years of professional experience; or 6+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
- Candidate must be able to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer
- Experience with UNIX/Linux operating, troubleshoot connection /network configurations skills
- Experience in following a documented Integration and Test Development Process
- Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large software complex systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interface with internal and external customers
- Willing to collaborate with FAA customer on sites to build system knowledge.
