About the role
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify software functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements.
- Lead and coordinate testing phases, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as HP ALM, Ansible, or equivalent.
- Track and report test execution status, generating detailed test reports and artifact packages for stakeholders and clients.
- Manage and track defects, change requests, and action items.
- Facilitate test planning meetings, peer reviews, and customer-facing sessions to align on test objectives and schedules.
- Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and schedulers to ensure testability of requirements and alignment with project timelines.
- Mentor and train team members on testing tools, processes, and applications.
- Support the development and updating of systems engineering documentation, such as requirements verification matrices and architectural design documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 12+ years of professional experience; or a master’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 10+ years of professional experience.
- Ability to obtain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer.
- Experience leading and directing activities of a team
- Experience with workload, staffing and schedule management
- Air Traffic Knowledge and experience working on Air Traffic programs
- Experience conducting technical reviews with a government agency / customer
- Experience in following a documented Integration and Test Development Process
- Experience in the use of UNIX and Linux operating systems
- Strong integration skills with hands-on experience integrating large software complex systems
