About the role

  • Lead development of Human-Machine Teaming solutions for the Information and Data Sciences Division
  • Support multiple programs and projects and define/mature organization processes
  • Build and supervise a core group of software engineers
  • Collaborate with software, data, and hardware engineers to develop algorithms and sensor hardware
  • Produce and communicate technical reports to non-technical audiences
  • Stay up to date with state-of-the-art developments and strategize new approaches for R&D
  • Work collaboratively across the company

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in the physical sciences, engineering, data science, or computer science
  • 8+ years of direct experience with DoD and IC research programs and testing and evaluation
  • 3+ years experience in human-machine teaming or human performance research
  • Experience performing, testing, and managing research solutions in AI/ML, Resilient Systems, Quantum communications, and Cybersecurity
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Must be a U.S Citizen and be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability and willingness to work a hybrid schedule from either our San Diego California or Arlington Virginia office
