About the role
- Lead the configuration management function within our product manufacturing organization
- Establish and maintain robust configuration management strategies, policies, and processes
- Oversee a team of configuration management professionals
- Ensure that engineering changes, documentation, and product configurations are effectively controlled and communicated
- Develop and implement configuration management frameworks and governance models
- Define and enforce configuration control processes
- Lead the Configuration Control Board (CCB)
- Ensure full traceability of product configurations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Drive continuous improvement of CM tools, automation, and data integrity
- Support quality and regulatory compliance efforts
- Lead and develop a high-performing configuration management team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of in configuration management or product data management within a manufacturing, engineering or government contracting environment
- Strong knowledge of government regulations
- Strong knowledge of PLM and ERP systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter, SAP, Oracle Agile, Arena)
- Proven experience managing engineering change processes and maintaining product documentation accuracy
- Familiarity with ISO, AS, or other regulatory and quality system standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security or public trust clearance.
