About the role
- Support contract management and proposal activities
- Act as the primary interface between Leidos and Government contracts personnel
- Oversight and evaluation of major proposals
- Lead or assist in key negotiations
- Resolve performance issues and identify risks
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Collaborate with programs, contracts, finance, and customers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with Government (FAR / DFAR) contracting
- Fixed Price (FP), Time & Material (T&M), Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts
- Proficient with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent negotiation skills
- US Citizen with ability to maintain a Secret Clearance
- Prior experience managing Navy & Marine Corps IT contracts is preferred
