Ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance is operational at all times.
Ensure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up in accordance with customer policies.
Alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary.
Create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.
Develop and implement technical solutions in collaboration with engineers and architects.
Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages.
Develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures and other documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.
Requirements
Experienced in administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment.
Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
Expertise creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces.
Experience working independently in support of customer requirements.
Experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions.
Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow.
Candidate must meet DoDM 8140.03 IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements.
Candidate must possess an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification.
Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 10 years of experience.
