About the role

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer systems, operating systems, services, and standard company software using customised in-house toolsets.
  • Provide deskside support for various applications, Citrix environments, printing and LRS issues; assist with data backup and recovery; carry out troubleshooting and fault remediation activities.
  • Create and maintain various Active Directory (AD) account types, ensuring proper access and user management.
  • Create, update, and amend process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles to support IT operations and end-user guidance.
  • Interact with users and key business stakeholders, providing subject matter expertise and resolving technical issues and user requests.

Requirements

  • NV1 Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated high-level skill with Microsoft technologies including Windows 10, Office, Teams, Skype for Business, desktop and laptop hardware (HP, Dell), Cisco phones, and iOS mobility solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange, Office 365 (O365), Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and LRS systems.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Ivanti for device and software management.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes and their application within IT service management.
