About the role
- Relational Database and Adaptation Data Processing Programming
- Data modeling and implementation of complex data models to support air traffic control in various environments and geographical areas
- Ada/C Interface Programming
- System Maintenance Concepts
- Front end user interface design and backend data processing architecture and design
- Developing and maintaining the FAA air traffic control software (primarily Ada95/C++) on a UNIX/Linux platform
- Developing Oracle/Relational Database applications including Oracle Forms, PL/SQL, and Pro*C
- Coordinate the development of new capabilities and upgrade to adaptation processing and XML schemas for adaptation XML provided to applications via APIs
- Coordinate Solutions with Systems Engineering CAS Integration Concepts
- ERAM Tools Development
- Provide teaching / mentoring to junior levels
- Collaborate with team members across multiple areas
- Provide leadership and guidance to support functions
Requirements
- Bachelors degree with 2+ years relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain an SF-85P Public Trust clearance from the FAA customer
- Proficient programming skills with the following Linux/UNIX
- SQL and/or Sql*Plus Relational DB
- C/C++/Pro*C
- Demonstrated Software Development Skills/Capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to debug and solve problems
- A Strong desire to learn
- Work Experience in a Technical organization performing Software Engineering Tasks
