About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients
- Collaborate and communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members

- Use technology to optimize alternative modes of care delivery
- Teach and mentor new colleagues and department interns, with additional precepting as assigned
- Delegate according to team-member skills, expertise, patient acuity, patient needs, and availability

Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Knowledge and competence reflecting current nursing practice
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in patient care delivery
- Successful completion of specialty-related additional orientation programs
- Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies
- Basic computer skills
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania, required upon hire
- Ability to lift and carry 40–50 lbs.
- Frequent to continuous standing and walking
- Ability to perform role-specific activities including kneeling, bending, squatting, and CPR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
