About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, plan, deliver, evaluate, and continually support strategic enterprise initiatives and project management needs
- Track project progress in the project management system and provide standardized reports
- Assess variation, organizational performance gaps, expense reduction opportunities, and revenue growth opportunities
- Perform root cause and gap analysis using current-state data
- Interpret data accurately
- Facilitate team meetings and coordinate project documents, actions, and follow-up items
- Identify and escalate barriers and risks
- Execute departmental and divisional goals, strategies, and vision
- Foster continuous learning and improvement
- Collaborate with clients and business partners to share project status, results, and feedback
- Build and maintain a professional peer network and relevant professional organization memberships
- Stay current with healthcare industry trends and portfolio and project management practices
- Work alongside senior team members and the direct supervisor to ensure accuracy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business administration, healthcare management, project management, or a closely related field
- 3 years of progressive experience in project management, or completion of a healthcare administrative fellowship program
- Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and situations
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple complex tasks and projects in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to focus on details and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Team-building skills and emotional and social intelligence
- Collaboration, resilience, managerial courage, flexibility, ethics, and professionalism
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
- Frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or another related degree
- Preferred: 5 years of progressive experience in project management
- Preferred: CSSBB certification from the American Society for Quality
