About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, plan, deliver, evaluate, and continually support strategic enterprise initiatives and project management needs
Track project progress in the project management system and provide standardized reports
Assess variation, organizational performance gaps, expense reduction opportunities, and revenue growth opportunities
Perform root cause and gap analysis using current-state data
Interpret data accurately
Facilitate team meetings and coordinate project documents, actions, and follow-up items
Identify and escalate barriers and risks
Execute departmental and divisional goals, strategies, and vision
Foster continuous learning and improvement
Collaborate with clients and business partners to share project status, results, and feedback
Build and maintain a professional peer network and relevant professional organization memberships
Stay current with healthcare industry trends and portfolio and project management practices
Work alongside senior team members and the direct supervisor to ensure accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, business administration, healthcare management, project management, or a closely related field
3 years of progressive experience in project management, or completion of a healthcare administrative fellowship program
Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and situations
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple complex tasks and projects in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to focus on details and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
Team-building skills and emotional and social intelligence
Collaboration, resilience, managerial courage, flexibility, ethics, and professionalism
Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
Frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use
Preferred: Master’s Degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or another related degree
Preferred: 5 years of progressive experience in project management
Preferred: CSSBB certification from the American Society for Quality
