About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides engineering support for the commercialization, customization, testing, and launch of Starline products.
  • Develops and enhances product designs with a focus on manufacturability, testability, and assembly while supporting customer-specific solutions and third-party product integration.
  • Creates technical documentation, conducts product testing and compliance verification, collaborates with Production, Quality, and Purchasing teams.
  • Supports design automation initiatives and improves engineering information systems.
  • Provides guidance to drafters, reviews engineering work, supports certification and laboratory testing activities, and assists with jobsite and product implementation support.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the engineering field.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required up to 10%.
  • Prior experience with Starline products is a plus.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Inventor, and/or VAULT.
  • Experience with an ERP system (Syteline Preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer satisfaction, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of project management processes and principles.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and techniques.
