About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate and treat patients with depression, anxiety, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and other conditions
- Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments covering mental health, medical history, and risk analysis
- Use novel, evidence-based treatments
- Promote compassion, respect, and empathy in patient interactions and care approaches
- Create and execute tailored treatment plans combining medication and brief psychotherapy
- Work with other mental-health and medical professionals
- Explore and integrate new therapeutic techniques and technologies
- Participate in peer and physician case reviews to enhance clinical skills and ongoing learning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active, unrestricted license as a PMHNP in Connecticut
- Board certification as a PMHNP (ANCC)
- Active DEA registration
- At least 1 year of professional experience practicing as a PMHNP
- Commitment to a minimum 1-year tenure with the team
- Comfort providing care remotely via telehealth
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort using technology and electronic health record systems
- Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
