About the role
- Own the poker player experience, providing authoritative rulings and thoughtful responses across community and support channels.
- Design, deliver, and optimise promotions, tournaments, and flagship events that drive engagement and retention.
- Use data and reporting tools to analyse player behaviour, promotion performance, and poker economy health.
- Act as a trusted subject-matter expert for poker rules, formats, and game variants across the business.
- Strengthen the Poker’s community by contributing engaging content, forum presence, and league collaboration.
- Safeguard game integrity by detecting, investigating, and preventing collusion and unfair play across the platform.
Requirements
- A passion for poker.
- Proven experience and hands-on knowledge of poker and the igaming industry.
- You’ll have a deep understanding of poker rules, variants, and poker economy fundamentals (rake, overlays, promotions).
- Proven experience in identifying collusion or suspicious behaviour using hand histories and player data.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience using data to inform operational and commercial decisions. You’ll be comfortable using tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and Amplitude to draw insight.
- Clear, confident written communication skills for public forums and direct player interactions.
- Comfort operating in grey areas, making sound judgment calls where precedent or data may be incomplete.
