About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join LegalVision’s Corporate practice group
  • Advise a diverse client base including start-ups, SMEs and larger corporates
  • Advise on sales and purchases of businesses, employee incentive schemes, shareholder agreements, share buy-backs, business structuring, loans, corporate governance and not-for-profit matters
  • Manage corporate transactions end-to-end
  • Manage workflows, projects, competing deadlines and high-volume matters efficiently
  • Engage directly with clients
  • Provide practical, commercial advice
  • Build trusted client relationships
  • Explain complex legal issues clearly and pragmatically
  • Work alongside a team of lawyers to deliver quality work and an exceptional client experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 4+ years of experience in a reputable law firm
  • Specific focus on general corporate, corporate advisory and/or M&A work
  • Experience efficiently managing workflows and projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong track record of managing transactions end-to-end
  • Ability to manage competing workflows and deadlines efficiently
  • Confident in direct client engagement
  • Ability to provide practical, commercial advice
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships
  • Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and pragmatically
  • Commercially minded and solutions-focused
  • Experience managing people preferred
