Senior Lawyer, 3-5 PQE
LegalVisionEmployment Lawyer assisting clients with employment law matters in a hybrid setup. Join a growing employment practice at LegalVision in Surry Hills.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Providing written and verbal advice to employers on the full range of employment law matters, including in relation to modern awards and enterprise agreements.
- Reviewing, drafting and updating employment documents such as contracts of employment, deeds of release and policies.
- Supporting clients and advising on recruitment, onboarding, application of their internal policies and employee terminations.
- Supporting on employment litigation matters and other larger projects and briefing counsel where necessary.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experienced: 3-5 years of employment law experience supporting employers in a reputable law firm or employment focused in-house position.
- Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
- A solutions-oriented mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
- A collaborative team builder and player who leads by example and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Additional experience directly managing or supervising junior lawyers will be highly valued.
