About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work alongside a team of exceptional lawyers to deliver quality work and an exceptional experience to every client you interact with.
Act for an incredibly diverse client base, helping them with a broad range of needs, including capital raising (Seed, Series A, Series B, and beyond), sale and purchase of businesses, employee incentive schemes, shareholder agreements, share buy-backs, business structuring, loans and corporate governance, as well as all general commercial law matters.
Work predominantly on capital raising and M&A matters.

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years’ PQE with strong experience in general corporate and commercial law, as well as capital raising transactions, ideally acting for SMEs, founder-led businesses, and growth-stage companies.
Demonstrated experience advising private companies on capital raising transactions (both equity and convertible instruments).
Strong understanding of the legal and commercial challenges facing SMEs, including growth, governance, investor relations, and scaling operations.
Experience drafting and negotiating investment documents, governance documents and related corporate and commercial documentation.
Ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear, practical, and commercially accessible way to non-legal stakeholders.
Strong project management skills with the ability to run matters autonomously while balancing multiple client priorities in a fast paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team.
