About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement instructional activities that engage students in meaningful learning experiences
- Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, speaking, mathematical, scientific, historical, geographical, and citizenship skills according to subject assignment
- Identify, select, and modify instructional resources for students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs
- Use direct instruction techniques to promote students’ social, physical, and intellectual growth
- Assess changing curricular needs and offer plans for improvement
- Maintain effective and efficient student records
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and other professionals
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment
- Model professional and ethical standards
- Ensure continuous and age-appropriate student growth and achievement
- Participate in training and staff meetings
- Meet deadlines, honor schedules, and coordinate meetings as needed
- Evaluate student learning capabilities and celebrate accomplishments

- Travel between campuses as required

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain
- Must pass a criminal history background check
- Current teaching certificate from the state where the position is located preferred
- Ability to travel between campuses
- Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, concentrate for long periods, and move throughout campus
- Local and in-state travel required
