About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist general education and special education teacher(s) and other certificated personnel by performing a variety of instructional support duties
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning
Support students in general education and pull-out rooms
Assist in data collection related to student performance
Devise special strategies for reinforcing material or skills
Supervise students during various activities
Participate in in-service training programs
Assist teachers in maintaining records required by policies
Administer and evaluate daily student assignments
Organize learning environment and prepare instructional materials
Assist students with personal hygiene functions
Act as a mandated reporter
Attend problem solving/IEP meetings

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED required
Paraprofessional Assessment completed successfully (if applicable)
