About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility
  • Promote Legacy policies, clinical programs, and the mission to help aging adults live safe, healthy lives
  • Build rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy employees
  • Oversee internal marketing efforts and communicate Legacy programs and offerings to community leaders
  • Manage site productivity and make changes to achieve budget
  • Maintain a caseload supporting rehab department standards
  • Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate to facility census
  • Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines
  • Coordinate daily rehab department activities with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming
  • Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer
  • Manage staff schedules and use scheduling tools for patient schedules
  • Manage CliniFax and physician signatures for therapy plans of care
  • Maintain communication among rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel
  • Assist with staff orientation and training to meet company, state, and federal standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living
  • Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required
  • Minimum of a degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • Degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP, or equivalent experience
  • Licensed and registered as a PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP in the state where assigned
