About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility
Promote Legacy policies, clinical programs, and the mission to help aging adults live safe, healthy lives
Build rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy employees
Oversee internal marketing efforts and communicate Legacy programs and offerings to community leaders
Manage site productivity and make changes to achieve budget
Maintain a caseload supporting rehab department standards
Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate to facility census
Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines
Coordinate daily rehab department activities with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming
Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer
Manage staff schedules and use scheduling tools for patient schedules
Manage CliniFax and physician signatures for therapy plans of care
Maintain communication among rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel
Assist with staff orientation and training to meet company, state, and federal standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living
Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required
Minimum of a degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
Degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP, or equivalent experience
Licensed and registered as a PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP in the state where assigned
