About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility
  • Promote Legacy policies and clinical programs
  • Build rapport and positive working relationships with facility personnel and Legacy employees
  • Oversee internal marketing efforts and communicate Legacy programs and offerings to community leaders
  • Manage site productivity and make changes to achieve budget
  • Maintain a caseload supporting rehab department standards
  • Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for facility census
  • Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines
  • Coordinate the rehab department daily with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming
  • Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share results with the customer
  • Manage staff schedules to meet caseload requirements and use scheduling tools for patient schedules
  • Manage CliniFax and physician signatures for therapy plans of care
  • Maintain communication among rehab staff, facility staff, and Legacy corporate personnel
  • Assist with staff orientation and training to meet company, state, and federal standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required
  • Minimum of a degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience, such as a degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP
  • Licensed and registered as a PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP in the state where assigned
  • Ability to assess patient needs and develop clinical programs
  • Ability to direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines
  • Ability to manage schedules, caseloads, productivity, and budgets
  • Ability to coordinate with facility, rehab, and corporate personnel
  • Ability to meet company, state, and federal standards
