About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary Legacy representative at the facility, promoting Legacy policies, clinical programs, and supporting our mission to help aging adults live safe, healthy lives full of strength, movement, and joy.
- Create rapport and positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow Legacy employees.
- Oversee internal marketing efforts to assist with relationship building with staff and residents.
- Manage site productivity and make necessary changes to achieve budget.
- Maintain a caseload that assists the rehab department in meeting standards.
- Assess patient needs and develop clinical programs appropriate for the facility census.
- Direct and train others in clinical service delivery across disciplines.
- Coordinate daily activities of the rehab department with facility staff to plan and implement therapy programming.
- Participate in clinical outcomes reporting and share with the customer.
- Manage staff schedules to meet the caseload requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologies (SLP).
- Three to five years’ experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living. Some prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum of a degree from accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP).
- Licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in state where assigned.
