About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Screen new clients to identify presenting problems and address urgent issues
  • Administer psychosocial assessments
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages
  • Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop client-centered interventions
  • Re-assess clients and update treatment plans as needed
  • Work a full-time flexible schedule, including evenings and some weekends
  • Meet with a clinical supervisor monthly to review client cases
  • Document all client encounters and activities within three working days
  • Perform billing activities following agency procedures
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions
  • Advise patients on health and illness prevention, including family planning services
  • Stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and research
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences
  • Current Texas license (LCSW, LPC and/or LMFT) in good standing with the credentialing board
  • Maintain first aid / CPR certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • Comfortable working with clients across the lifespan, including young children age 4 and up
