About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Screen new clients to identify presenting problems and address urgent issues
- Administer psychosocial assessments
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages
- Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop client-centered interventions
- Re-assess clients and update treatment plans as needed
- Work a full-time flexible schedule, including evenings and some weekends
- Meet with a clinical supervisor monthly to review client cases
- Document all client encounters and activities within three working days
- Perform billing activities following agency procedures
- Participate in required meetings and training sessions
- Advise patients on health and illness prevention, including family planning services
- Stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and research
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences
- Current Texas license (LCSW, LPC and/or LMFT) in good standing with the credentialing board
- Maintain first aid / CPR certifications
- Minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Comfortable working with clients across the lifespan, including young children age 4 and up
