About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Screen new clients to identify presenting problems and address urgent issues
Administer psychosocial assessments
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages
Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop client-centered interventions
Re-assess clients and update treatment plans as needed
Work a full-time flexible schedule, including evenings and some weekends
Meet with a clinical supervisor monthly to review client cases
Document all client encounters and activities within three working days
Perform billing activities following agency procedures
Participate in required meetings and training sessions
Advise patients on health and illness prevention, including family planning services
Stay informed about the latest therapeutic techniques and research
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences
Current Texas license (LCSW, LPC and/or LMFT) in good standing with the credentialing board
Maintain first aid / CPR certifications
Minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize
Bilingual English/Spanish required
Comfortable working with clients across the lifespan, including young children age 4 and up
