About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the primary liaison with the managed detection and response vendor to analyze and respond to security findings
  • Work with Office365/Azure administrators to integrate security protocols
  • Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to implement and review Standard Operating Procedures
  • Analyze technical reports, benchmarks, and standards and provide actionable recommendations
  • Use firewalls and advanced threat protection systems to monitor activities and identify potential threats
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring of security systems
  • Conduct risk assessments for new software applications and services
  • Review third-party security controls and recommend responses
  • Implement process and procedure improvements
  • Participate in assigned projects
  • Be available for on-call duties
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma required
  • 5 or more years of experience in Information Technology required
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
  • 3 years as a system administrator, network/server engineer, or equivalent job experience preferred
  • Experience in health care and knowledge of HIPAA preferred
  • Technical certification, especially in Information Security, preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, group policy, Microsoft server administration, and Office 365/Azure administration preferred
  • Availability for on-call duties
