About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide high quality psychotherapy to senior clients with identified behavioral health needs.
  • Conduct initial screenings to identify client needs, address urgent concerns, and provide timely referrals.
  • Administer comprehensive psychosocial assessments to inform treatment planning.
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages experiencing biopsychosocial challenges.
  • Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Regularly reassess clients and update treatment plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Meet with a clinical supervisor at least monthly to discuss and review client cases.
  • Document all client interactions in the medical record system within three working days.
  • Perform billing activities in accordance with agency procedures and guidelines.
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions to stay informed and connected.
  • Provide guidance and education to patients on health, wellness, and illness prevention, including family planning services.
  • Stay current on advancements in therapeutic techniques, theories, and research to enhance your practice.
  • Take on other duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences.
  • Must be fully licensed in the state of TX as a LCSW, LPC or LMFT and be in good standing with their credentialing board.
  • Must maintain first aid/CPR certifications.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy.
  • Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.
