About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families
Conduct initial screenings to identify client needs, address urgent concerns, and provide timely referrals.
Administer comprehensive psychosocial assessments to inform treatment planning.
Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to clients of all ages experiencing biopsychosocial challenges.
Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
Regularly reassess clients and update treatment plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
Document all client interactions in the medical record system within three working days.
Perform billing activities in accordance with agency procedures and guidelines.
Provide guidance and education to patients on health, wellness, and illness prevention, including family planning services.
Stay current on advancements in therapeutic techniques, theories, and research to enhance your practice.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a master’s degree from an accredited college or university in the social or behavioral sciences.
Must be fully licensed in the state of TX as a LCSW, LPC or LMFT and be in good standing with their credentialing board.
Must maintain first aid/CPR certifications.
Must have a minimum of 2 years paid work experience providing psychotherapy.
Must be able to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize.
