About the role
- Screen new clients to identify presenting problems, address urgent issues, and provide immediate referrals as needed.
- Administer psychosocial assessments to build a data-driven foundation for therapy.
- Deliver innovative individual, couples, and family therapy to a diverse clientele experiencing various biopsychosocial stressors.
- Collaborate with clients, physicians, and other providers to co-create and implement personalized interventions and treatment plans.
- Re-assess clients regularly, adapting treatment plans to ensure adaptive care.
- Manage a full-time flexible schedule, inclusive of evenings and some weekends, to meet community needs.
- Engage in monthly clinical supervision for case reviews and continuous improvement.
- Document client encounters meticulously, ensuring data integrity within medical records.
- Conduct billing activities with precision, adhering to agency protocols.
- Participate actively in all required meetings, contributing to knowledge-sharing and organizational growth.
- Advise patients on health and illness prevention, including voluntary family planning services.
- Stay at the forefront of therapeutic advancements through ongoing education and research engagement.
Requirements
- Master's degree in social or behavioral sciences from an accredited institution.
- Current Texas license (LCSW, LPC, and/or LMFT) in good standing.
- Maintain first aid/CPR certifications.
- Participation in Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal/state reimbursement programs is required.
- Minimum of 2 years paid experience in providing psychotherapy.
- Proficiency in managing multiple deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish are preferred.
