About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft, review and analyze contracts, petitions, notices and other legal documents under supervision.
  • Conduct research on legislation, case law and doctrine to support legal opinions and litigation filings.
  • Monitor judicial and administrative proceedings.
  • Assist in the preparation of case reports and deadline management.
  • Meet with clients to clarify questions and collect information, always under the guidance of more senior lawyers.
  • Support the organization and maintenance of files and internal legal systems.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, and carry out court appearances, filings and diligences with judges and appellate judges.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • Previous experience in civil litigation and arbitration.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent legal writing in Portuguese and English.
  • Organized, proactive and able to work well in a team.
