About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Draft, review and analyze contracts, petitions, notices and other legal documents under supervision.
- Conduct legal research on legislation, case law and doctrine to support legal opinions and pleadings.
- Monitor judicial and administrative proceedings.
- Assist in preparing case reports and managing deadlines.
- Meet with clients to clarify questions and collect information, always under the guidance of more experienced attorneys.
- Support the organization and maintenance of files and internal legal systems.
- Participate in internal and external meetings, and carry out court briefings and diligences with judges and appellate judges.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Prior experience in civil litigation and arbitration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient legal drafting in Portuguese and English.
- Organized, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.
