About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Draft, review and analyze contracts, pleadings, notices and other legal documents under supervision.
  • Conduct research on legislation, case law and legal doctrine to support legal opinions and court filings.
  • Monitor and follow judicial and administrative proceedings.
  • Assist in preparing litigation reports and managing deadlines.
  • Meet with clients to clarify questions and gather information, always under the guidance of senior attorneys.
  • Support the organization and maintenance of files and internal legal systems.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, and handle communications and diligences with judges and appellate judges.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • Prior experience in civil litigation and arbitration.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with good legal drafting in Portuguese and English.
  • Organizational skills, proactivity and ability to work in a team.
