About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the delivery of potable water utility infrastructure projects
Oversee the successful post-sale delivery of water infrastructure projects
Manage the BAU Water Project Delivery Team
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
Provide strong project leadership and build effective relationships
Ensure issues are resolved proactively to maintain project performance and customer satisfaction
Contribute to business planning, reporting, forecasting and KPI achievement
Drive operational excellence across the team
Ensure all BAU Water Project Delivery design activity is completed by accredited third parties
Manage and validate the capital budgets cost allocation against all projects
Ensure financial controls are adhered to
Manage any issues or defects to resolution using company systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years’ experience of managing in a Project Capacity within a SLP or Water Company
Demonstrable experience of the design and construction of potable water infrastructure
A good working knowledge of the Water Industry NAV process
Excellent knowledge of multi utility industry asset standards such as NJUG
Commercial contract management experience (or qualifications)
Strong people management skills with experience of developing and managing personnel
Financial acumen and a track record of adhering to budgets
Significant experience and knowledge of H&S management and audits
In-depth understanding of regulatory standards applicable to the business and the processes required to be compliant with them
Expert knowledge of asset adoption and delivery legal requirements
Strong computer and reporting skills
