💰 $23 - $27 per hour
About the role
- Work directly with many of our clients
- Handle a variety of eCommerce tasks for each client such as calculating sales, returns, discounts, and reconciling sales figures between sales channels and payment processors
- Assist in calculating cost of goods sold and inventory balances each month
- Process vendor invoices and bills, reviewing invoices and bills, and preparing them for payment
- Regular finance tasks including transaction coding; bank and credit card reconciliations; AP and AR documentation; customer invoicing; payroll processes; maintaining fixed asset schedules; month-end and year-end close duties; and 1099 filings
- Communicate with clients through e-mail or video conferencing to help explain problems and issues when they arise, as well as communicate across teams to collect correct information and problem solve
Requirements
- An accounting/finance degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- 2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online
- Ability and confidence to trouble shoot independently and communicate with clients
- Experience with small business accounting or an eCommerce business is a plus.
- Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience is highly valued.
