About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support discovery sessions with functional teams and leaders, helping translate business problems into technically actionable briefs.
  • Contribute to a prioritised build pipeline, in partnership with the BizOps team, focused on highest-value, highest-feasibility opportunities first.
  • Ask good questions about whether a technology solution is the right answer - the goal is better outcomes, not more AI.
  • Design and deliver AI capabilities - agents, internal copilots, knowledge assistants, intelligent automation, RAG systems, document intelligence, and agentic workflows with increasing independence as your experience grows.
  • Contribute to integrations across Learnosity's enterprise technology stack, connecting systems and closing gaps that slow teams down.
  • Build for reuse - solutions and components should be adaptable across functions, not purpose-built and abandoned.
  • Document your work clearly so knowledge compounds across rotations.
  • Help drive adoption, not just deployment - a solution that isn't used hasn't delivered value.
  • Coach the teams you work with through practical training and documentation, working up to leading this independently.
  • Contribute to practical guidance, prompt libraries, and playbooks tailored to each function's real workflows.
  • Support well-designed handoffs so what you help build keeps running reliably after you rotate out.
  • Flag security and privacy considerations early, escalating to COPO or the relevant team when unsure.
  • Support the evaluation of new AI tools alongside Security, Legal, and Internal IT.
  • Share what you learn across rotations - what worked, what didn't, and ideas worth exploring further.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid Python engineering skills - able to build, test, and deploy production-grade AI solutions.
  • Working knowledge of LLMs - prompt engineering, basic RAG concepts, tool use, and structured outputs. You're curious about how these models behave and fail, not just how to call an API.
  • Some hands-on exposure to building AI agents or automated workflows - through work, side projects, or personal experimentation.
  • Comfortable working directly with model provider APIs and SDKs - Claude, OpenAI, Gemini.
  • Some experience (or strong aptitude) integrating APIs into real systems - connecting tools, automating a workflow, or building a small internal tool.
  • Familiarity with at least some common enterprise tools - Google Workspace, Atlassian, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Slack, Xero - and willingness to learn the rest.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience, ideally with some exposure to cross-functional or client-facing work.
  • Clear communicator - comfortable asking questions of non-technical stakeholders to understand what they actually need.
