About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a product marketing leader within the organization by establishing frameworks, influencing cross-functional discussions, and helping scale product marketing capabilities for growth
- Define, refine, and operationalize repeatable go-to-market and product marketing frameworks that improve launch quality, message consistency, sales confidence, and post-launch learning
- Lead the voice-of-customer, win/loss synthesis, market intelligence, and competitive intelligence operating rhythm, turning market signals into clear recommendations for product strategy, positioning, sales enablement, and go-to-market execution
- Develop and maintain buyer personas, buying committee insights, buyer journey mapping, objection themes, and segment-specific messaging for district and school decision-makers
- Create differentiated positioning, value propositions, proof points, and messaging frameworks that clearly articulate the urgent problem we solve, why it matters now, and why Learning.com is uniquely positioned to win
- Lead go-to-market strategy for product launches and major initiatives, including helping define and refine launch frameworks, audience definition, launch tiering, readiness milestones, internal communications, sales enablement, success metrics, and post-launch learning
- Bring market evidence, including win/loss patterns, buyer needs, competitive dynamics, customer adoption, and commercial signals, directly into product strategy and roadmap discussions, helping connect product investments to measurable business outcomes
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Revenue Enablement, Regional Marketing, Marketing Services, and RevOps to drive internal adoption of messaging, improve field consistency, measure effectiveness, and refine positioning based on feedback and performance data
- Build repeatable product marketing systems, including competitive battlecards, launch playbooks, messaging frameworks, product one-pagers, demo narratives, objection handling, sales talk tracks, internal FAQs, and recurring market intelligence reporting
- Translate product capabilities into compelling market stories that connect to district priorities, including digital literacy, AI literacy, responsible technology use, career readiness, student safety, instructional efficiency, and measurable student outcomes
- Support demand generation, customer retention, and expansion efforts by providing product messaging, campaign inputs, customer proof points, thought leadership themes, and clear segment-specific value propositions
- Establish and monitor product marketing success measures, including launch readiness, message adoption, field feedback, competitive effectiveness, pipeline influence, expansion support, and post-launch performance
- Use AI tools, customer data, and market insights to improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of research, competitive monitoring, message testing, content development, and go-to-market execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, EdTech, education technology, curriculum, public-sector software, or a comparable market
- Proven ability to create positioning, messaging, go-to-market plans, product launch strategies, and sales enablement that improve market clarity and commercial outcomes
- Strong market research, voice-of-customer, win/loss, competitive analysis, and customer insight skills
- Ability to synthesize complex inputs from customers, prospects, Product, Sales, Customer Success, data, and the market into clear recommendations and usable artifacts
- Experience partnering with Product Management to connect market problems, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and commercial opportunity to product and roadmap discussions
- Experience partnering with Sales and Revenue Enablement to create sales tools, talk tracks, objection handling, demo narratives, and training that help teams sell value instead of features
- Experience defining market categories, category narratives, or thought leadership strategies that influence buyer perception and market awareness
- Strong strategic writing, storytelling, presentation, and executive communication skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and constructively challenge ideas using market evidence and business judgment
- Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and create structure without overcomplicating the work
- Ability to use data to evaluate product marketing effectiveness and make informed recommendations
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, education, communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
