About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive the development of automotive components within the E-systems division, focusing on wire harnesses and fuse boxes.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to deliver robust, cost-effective designs on time while ensuring alignment with OEM requirements.
- Lead the engineering project team and act as the main technical authority across all development phases.
- Manage daily engineering activities and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
- Coordinate with OEM clients (e.g., Volvo, BMW, JLR) on technical specifications and engineering changes.
- Drive the development of robust, accurate, and cost-effective product designs.
- Plan, track, and control engineering timelines and laboratory deliverables.
- Manage project engineering budgets, forecasts, and expenses.
- Evaluate and clarify technological, validation, and testing requirements.
- Participate in resource planning, capacity management, and project strategy discussions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in automotive project or program management
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience working in the automotive industry, ideally within product development
- Proven experience leading teams in an international matrix organization
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
