About the role

  • Direct technical support to others using computer equipment for office applications
  • Administer manufacturing unit’s network structure with Windows server, SQL and Deployment Servers capabilities
  • Support by completing Ivanti requests and production calls for assistance
  • Run and install Ethernet in house cabling and network device structures as needed
  • Assist Regional IT Manager with KPI Monitoring, resolution, and escalation
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures
  • Troubleshoot Server/PC hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Maintain routine SOX requirement forms and procedures
  • Monitor daily backup and recovery tapes and systems
  • Provide technical support to production, quality, maintenance, shipping, and other departments as needed

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree in Information System or six years previous experience in IT field
  • Hardware and Network Troubleshooting Skills
  • Manufacturing industry experience preferred
  • One-year automotive industry experience desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment
  • Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and to multi-task
