About the role
- Ensure timely and appropriate recording of all transactions in accounts payables
- Analyze AP related issues and solve them independently
- Ensure fulfilment of company obligations to third parties and employees
- Provide monthly analyses and reports to the AP Team Lead/Supervisor
- Create and maintain close working relationships with internal customers
- Contribute to improving vendor relationships
- Handle questions from internal customers on A/P related topics
- Reinforce purchase order procedure to internal customers
- Back-up peer AP Associates
- Identify opportunities and escalate potential system and process improvements
- Follow up and solve exception handling regarding AP issues
- Support internal and external audits
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts payable process
- Exposure to a Shared Service environment
- Good understanding of Purchase to Pay processes
- Practical experience of ERP and PC-based computer systems
- Experience with creation of Key Performance Indicators
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
- Analytical skills to solve day-to-day problems
- Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Adaptability to changing environment
