About the role

  • Ensure timely and appropriate recording of all transactions in accounts payables
  • Analyze AP related issues and solve them independently
  • Ensure fulfilment of company obligations to third parties and employees
  • Provide monthly analyses and reports to the AP Team Lead/Supervisor
  • Create and maintain close working relationships with internal customers
  • Contribute to improving vendor relationships
  • Handle questions from internal customers on A/P related topics
  • Reinforce purchase order procedure to internal customers
  • Back-up peer AP Associates
  • Identify opportunities and escalate potential system and process improvements
  • Follow up and solve exception handling regarding AP issues
  • Support internal and external audits

Requirements

  • Previous experience in accounts payable process
  • Exposure to a Shared Service environment
  • Good understanding of Purchase to Pay processes
  • Practical experience of ERP and PC-based computer systems
  • Experience with creation of Key Performance Indicators
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills
  • Analytical skills to solve day-to-day problems
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
  • Adaptability to changing environment
